Poundfield Precast attending Cereals 2019

In a busy summer of exhibiting, Poundfield Precast will be displaying our retaining wall systems at the arable event, Cereals 2019 on stand 964 and at the Suffolk Show.

Held in Boothby Graffoe, Lincoln, on 12th & 13th June 2019, Cereals is Europe’s Leading Technical Event For The Arable Industry.

Perfect for the segregation of crops or other bulky materials, our retaining walls are freestanding in the majority of cases, giving farmers and farm managers the flexibility of moving the units depending on the needs of the farm.

For arable farms where multiple crops are harvested, concrete retaining walls create effective storage bays, preventing cross-contamination and ensuring efficient crop management.

What Poundfield will be exhibiting at Cereals ’19

We will be displaying 6 of their retaining wall products.

The Alfabloc® is the only interconnecting, freestanding retaining wall on the market. Loaded on one or both sides, the Alfabloc is perfect for bulk storage requirements such as grain stores or anaerobic digesters.

With no protruding toe, the Taperbloc™ XL makes access to stored material simple. As it can be double loaded it increases storage capacity and is easy to manoeuvre and reconfigure.

Used to form the ‘outer wall’ of a storage facility, the L-bloc® can withstand significant misuse by mechanical plant, while prestressed panels are installed between steel columns to create a continuous concrete wall.

Betaloc® XL is a popular interlocking concrete building block and is another option for creating dividing walls quickly and without ground fixings.

Additionally, we’ll also be exhibiting the Alfastop® unit. An alternative to traditional security fencing, the unit is designed to work with standard Heras fencing, creating an instant barrier for temporary fencing around work or hazardous zones.

Concrete products in agriculture

We’re delighted to be exhibiting at Cereals 19, Europe’s leading technical event for the arable industry. Due to its structural dependability and ability to withstand the most extreme weather conditions, concrete is an excellent choice for use in the agriculture industry. As well as grain and crop storage, concrete retaining walls can also be used in silage clamps, or as part of an anaerobic digestion plant.

The Suffolk Show is an annual two-day event, which celebrates everything that is great about Suffolk.
