Poundfield Precast at LAMMA Agricutural Show

We had a really busy couple of days at the LAMMA Show at the NEC last week and had a lot of interest in our range of retaining wall products.

The UK’s leading agricultural event, this year’s show was the first to be held indoors and was packed with over 650 exhibitors showcasing the latest cutting-edge farm machinery equipment and services. With an estimated 40,000 people visiting the event, there was a lot of excitement around the show and its new venue.

We were exhibiting our full range of retaining walls, which are particularly suited for use in the agriculture sector.

Precast Concrete for Silage Clamps & Grain Storage

Some of the most popular products on display were our Alfabloc® and Taperbloc™ XL retaining wall systems. As they can be double loaded and are freestanding, they are well suited for bulk storage on a busy farm. These precast concrete products always generate a lot of interest at agricultural shows, and Rory and Jane from our retaining walls team were kept busy answering questions and providing quotes.

L-blocs and prestressed concrete panels can create outer walls for grain storage or silage clamps and were on display at LAMMA, alongside the Betaloc blocks and the Alfastop. Our offer of a free rain gauge with every quote was well received, so much so we ran out well before the end of the show!

Thank you to everyone who visited our stand over the two days.

We look forward to seeing you at Cereals later in the year.
