Beam & block contract for exclusive property development in Lawford, Essex

The midsummer weather was particularly kind as Poundfield Precast celebrated our long-term relationship with premier housebuilder Rose Builders by kicking off our involvement in the fourth phase of the Summers Park development in Lawford, Essex last week.

We delivered a consignment of 1,500 beams and infill blocks as work began on four more exclusive houses on the site.

We’ve been working with Rose Builders from the very start of the Summers Park project in 2015. The development which, once completed, will see 150 high quality houses built, is one of the most significant in the positive working relationship between our two companies.

Rose Builders is a traditional family-run firm of builders, contractors and developers first established circa 1896 and one of the leading construction companies in East Anglia.

According to Jed Barrell, flooring sales & estimator at Poundfield Precast “having a long-term working relationship with such a high quality regional firm benefits both of us. At Summers Park, knowing the key milestones of their delivery programme enables us to deliver our flooring products on a just in time basis at each stage.

“To date Poundfield has efficiently supplied and installed 21,000l/m of 150mm beams and 70,000 infill blocks to Rose Builders for their flagship development.”
