Over the years, the construction of energy infrastructure, such as offshore wind farms, has contributed to the loss of natural marine habitats. This has posed significant challenges to marine biodiversity and has impacted fish populations, particularly commercially important species like cod. To counter these effects, Exo Engineering has developed artificial reefs aimed at restoring lost habitats, providing a haven for juvenile fish and other marine organisms.
