We launch our new Taperbloc™ retaining wall unit

Poundfield have launched their new Taperbloc™ retaining wall unit.
The new product is an addition to the well established Alfabloc® walling system. Taperbloc units are a lower budget product which can be used for separating all types of bulk materials.
Unlike the Alfabloc range they require fixing to a concrete base /slab but in some cases can provide a similar solution at a more economical price.
Alfabloc remains the true ‘freestanding ‘ solution to dividing products and with the unique steel interlocking straps, the units can be connected to form on mass wall to prevent them being pushed out of line.

Canvey Island Southern Shoreline Revetment Project
We provided over 1,000 individually reinforced low-carbon precast concrete steps which were manufactured in steel moulds. The units were made using approximately 235m3 of Cemfree Rapid from DB Group Ltd, an alkali-activated cementitious material (AACM) which has 85% lower embodied carbon than 100% OPC (Ordinary Portland Cement) concrete.
