Regeneration projects with precast concrete

From improving gardens and parks to relaying pavements and walkways, the use of precast concrete can dramatically improve an area. We have been involved in regeneration projects around the country, including inner city regeneration and coastal projects.

A set of activities designed to reverse economic, social and physical decline, regeneration aims to make a positive change on an area and its inhabitants. By improving towns and cities, and making them more attractive to residents and investors, new and existing businesses can prosper.

L-blocs can be used to create elevated sections in public parks and green spaces, while our textured concrete slabs can be used in the creation of paths and walkways. A specialist finish can help improve the look of an area even further, and this can be achieved during the casting stage.

An example of regeneration project we’ve been involved in was at Whitley Bay in North Tyneside. Here, we supplied 1,800 precast wall elements  installed at three different tiers along the Central Lower Promenade as part of the local council’s £36m seafront regeneration plan.
