We supply a range of precast products to the rail industry. From front wall units to platform copings, we can create an entire platform off site. When time and costs are tight, our precast railway platforms are an ideal solution. With easy installation, disruption is kept to a minimum, even when extending an existing platform.

With a range of finishes available – our copings are slip and skid-proof, and can be tactile to warn of the platform’s edge – railway platforms from Poundfield Products have proven strength and durability, which ensures long-term service life.

Concrete extensions are being used at several stations across the UK to allow new ten-car trains to operate rather than the old eight-car trains. We recently supplied concrete components to Essex based Scott Parnell Rail to extend Chertsey station. 65 cross beams and nearly 1,000 beams – cut to various lengths of up to 4 metres were used to create a block and beam flooring system.

To date, we have now supplied or secured work for the following stations across London and the South East railway network: Ashford, Whitton, St Margaret’s, Putney, North Sheen, Effingham, West Hampstead, Twickenham, Staines and Barnes.
