Beam and Block Floors
The Beam & Block Floor department was established in 2010 and has experienced rapid and successful growth while developing itself in the current market.
This has resulted in the requirement to expand the business in both premises and staff levels in order to continue to meet the increasing supply and demand and retain our high and efficient level of customer service.
Our manufacturing capability has increased by almost 80% from our initial starting point and with the addition of two new Hiab wagon and drag vehicles we aim to continue to be the premium choice supplier in the Beam and Block market.
Poundfield Products manufacture quality floors finished to a very high smooth standard, accredited with CE Mark and in accordance with British Standard EN 15037-1:2005.
Services we offer include a comprehensive flooring quotation package from design advice and preparation of construction drawings through to delivery to site and even installation.
We are more than happy to discuss your flooring project with you and work together to help deliver on time and within budget.
About Beam and Block Floors
Tradition Beam and Block suspended flooring systems are cost effective, easy to install and can be laid in all weathers. They can be used for both ground and upper floor levels in domestic and industrial buildings and only minimal levels of excavation are required.
Inverted prestressed ‘T’ shaped Concrete Beams are laid down with standard concrete blocks between them providing an immediate working platform.
Beam and Block floors provide good sound and thermal installation and eliminate any problems caused by ground movement or sloped land – in comparison to Timber beams they offer a much longer span and are also maintenance free, unaffected by cold and wet weather. They are also draught proof, damp proof and fire resistant.
Poundfield Products provide a range of floor products to cover a variety of spans and loads. Do not hesitate to contact us to discuss your next flooring project. We will happily work closely with you to ensure deliveries are on time, projects are within budget and tailored exactly to suit your needs.
Please also note that unlike many other suppliers we also provide Beams in exact lengths (in depths of both 150mm and 225mm).
