Jackie Bickers has recently joined Poundfield Precast as Human Resources Coordinator and provides HR support to the Precast Products Group of companies. Jackie has considerable experience having worked in HR at an International trading business for over 12 years.
“It’s an exciting time to be joining the Poundfield team as we increase the number of staff within the business to support our growth plans. We have just launched an apprenticeship scheme offering of a variety of roles and developing our team will be a key objective for me”.

Canvey Island Southern Shoreline Revetment Project
We provided over 1,000 individually reinforced low-carbon precast concrete steps which were manufactured in steel moulds. The units were made using approximately 235m3 of Cemfree Rapid from DB Group Ltd, an alkali-activated cementitious material (AACM) which has 85% lower embodied carbon than 100% OPC (Ordinary Portland Cement) concrete.
