Chelveston Renewable Energy Park

Chelveston Renewable Energy Park is an impressive facility covering over 700 acres of land and uses a multitude of different renewable technologies to generate clean energy, including wind turbines and solar panels. Over the years we have manufactured and supplied precast concrete troughs to sit under the generators to house and protect all the cabling which is involved in the generation of electricity.

The recent delivery is being used to complete another phase of installations which will see the number of solar panels being used increase from 250,000 to 400,000. Coupled with the nine 125 metre high wind turbines it is anticipated that the renewable energy park will capable of producing 175,000 MWh per year, sufficient to power over 60,000 homes in the local area.
