health and safety pitstop day

We recently held a Health and Safety Pitstop day at our site in Suffolk which involved a full production shut down. Shutting our plant is not something we do lightly, especially when we are extremely busy and every day’s production is vitally important. However, we simply cannot put a price on the importance of keeping our team safe. It gave the business the opportunity to focus on Health and Safety training along with the chance for different departments and colleagues to get together in a socially distanced manner. These training days are important events in our calendar and play a pivotal role in underlining the company’s commitment to our people and their safety.

The training covered fire awareness, CoSHH and the importance of SHEQ (Safety, Health, Environment and Quality) to the business.

As our business continues to grow we will also be looking at adding new accreditations which will benefit the safety of the staff, the environment and the quality of the products we produce.

At lunchtime we organised a BBQ for all staff as a thank you for their participation and it was great to see everyone getting together as a team.
