Poundfield sponsor a green for local charity

Poundfield Precast are delighted to have helped Needham Market Football Club to raise funds for St Elizabeth Hospice.

Held annually, the football club’s golf day raises money for local causes, with this year’s chosen charity being St Elizabeth Hospice. We’re delighted to have been a part of the day’s success through our green sponsorship.

As a local company we’re proud of our Suffolk roots, and often try to give something back to the region by sponsoring charity events in our local area. Previously we have supplied goal nets to Barham Athletic Football Club Under 9s and sponsored Colchester Golf Club’s Pro-am tournament, as well as and running our own annual charity golf day for the past four years.

Speaking about the event, Jed Barrell, beam & block flooring sales and estimator, said: “St Elizabeth Hospice is a very worthwhile local charity, who support a number of people and their families, myself included, during the most difficult of times.

“We are delighted to have helped raised funds for them through sponsoring this green”.

This year’s golf day was the ninth held by Needham Market Football Club. Following the death of long-term supporter Terry Ingram, the club chose to support St Elizabeth Hospice, an independent charity who provide palliative care to improve the lives of those living with progressive and terminal illnesses.

This year’s event managed to raise £2,836.75 for the hospice exceeding the £2k target.
