Storm at Hartlepool Sea Defences

Storm Eleanor’s 100mph gusts on Wednesday might have caused disruption and mayhem in different parts of the country, but Poundfield Precast’ many recent installations easily withstood the weather’s worst.

We have recently completed a number of sea defences including those at Hartlepool, Whitley Bay and Cockenzie, East Lothian.

In spite of high winds and battering waves, each of the sea defences more than handled the challenge.

Matt Moss, commercial director of Poundfield said “we were delighted to hear how our products coped with Storm Eleanor at each of these locations – proof positive that our quality promise is being delivered.

“We received some particularly awesome pictures of the Hartlepool defences in the middle of the storm and feel proud to have played a part in protecting that particular coastline.”
