Hintlesham Hall Golf Day

Our fourth annual charity golf day at Hintlesham Hall last week was well supported with over 60 keen golfers from our clients and suppliers keen to help raise money for The Cancer Centre Campaign – a Colchester Hospitals Charity.

Congratulations go to Andrew Forgan for getting a hole in one which really set the standard for the day.  The winning team was from Eastern Forklift Trucks Ltd but nobody went away empty handed and were all given a goody bag of golfing items kindly sponsored by Poundfield Precast. After the golf everyone was treated to an excellent performance from Kevin Carpenter with his golf trick shot show. Kevin is widely recognised as one of the leading golf trick shot performers in the country and he didn’t disappoint on the day. Take a look at the video to see how he wowed the crowd.

The event raised over £4,200 For The Cancer Centre Campaign which is raising funds to build a world-class cancer centre at Colchester General Hospital. We would like to thank everyone who took part on the day whether by entering a team or donating a prize for the auction at the end of the evening. A great day for a great cause.
