Combines beginning to roll in Suffolk fields

Prior to this week’s downpours, we were starting to see local Suffolk fields of barley and oilseed rape being cut.

A dry spring and early summer meant crops have matured earlier than normal, leading to the combine harvesters being called into action ahead of schedule.
