Poundfield’s ‘come home safe’ competition

As part of Poundfield Precast staff’s health and safety awareness training the company ran a ‘dressing safely’ drawing competition aimed at employees children and families (with the competition open to relatives age 14 or under)

Paul Sheppard – Production manager said “We did the competition to get the guys thinking about health and safety while they were in their own environment and to get them talking to their families about it.  Also the idea was to put the pictures up around the workplace to remind them the reason we have health and safety is to protect them, and also to ensure they go home safe to their families”.

A prize of £50 ‘Toys ‘R’ US vouchers were offered to the winner and the competition was judged by Park City who carried out the staff training.

1st Prize; the £50 voucher was awarded to Rebecca Aged 10. Her father Ian Morris works in our Block manufacturing department. A 2nd Prize of a £25 voucher was also awarded to Paige Aged 6. Her father Chris Skippins, works as QC Manager.

Well done to Rebecca and Paige and thank you to everyone else who took part!
