Last week we held our works Christmas party. The theme was ‘Christmas Jumper and Hats’ and we had a buffet, raffle, sweep stake and also a prize for the best outfit.
Everyone enjoyed the event held Friday afternoon and £285 was raised for Over the Rainbow Children’s Charity.
The Winner of the best Christmas outfit was Brian Green and the sweep stake winner was Aaron Roberts.

In waste and recycling facilities, retaining walls are not passive structures. They are working assets that form bays, push walls, fire breaks and material separators in environments defined by heavy plant, repeated impact and constantly changing loads. For these reasons, how retaining walls are installed and restrained is just as important as the wall system itself.
Constructed in 1960, the long sea outfall pipeline in the ecologically-sensitive Severn Estuary in Newport was reaching the end of its serviceable life. We worked with Kaymac Marine and Civil Engineering to supply pipe collars to keep the new HDPE pipe in place.
At Poundfield Precast, continuous investment in facilities, people and capability is a core part of our business strategy. Following sustained growth and continued success in securing larger and more complex precast contracts, we have recently installed a new 60-tonne overhead gantry crane, further enhancing our manufacturing capacity.
At Poundfield Precast, we take great pride in supporting projects that bring people together and make a real difference in our community.
