Poundfield appoints Commercial Director to oversee its continuing growth

Precast Concrete manufacturer Poundfield Precast, based near Needham Market, has announced the promotion of Matt Moss to the position of Commercial Director.

Mr. Moss joined the company in March 2014 in the position of Finance Director and, as the business expanded, was able to use his skills and experience to improve many other aspects of Poundfield’s activities including people management, marketing, corporate identity, insurance and commercial contract details.

As his responsibilities continued to grow beyond those of Finance Director, the decision was taken to promote Mr. Moss in order to take full advantage of his abilities to oversee both the structure and strategy of the company. He will also be responsible, jointly with the Managing Director, for keeping Poundfield on course in connection with its three year growth plan aimed at steadily increasing the current annual turnover of £7M.

Commenting on his promotion, Mr. Moss said: “I am delighted to have been given a much wider responsibility for the future development of Poundfield and its growing range of retaining wall, beam and block flooring and bespoke concrete products that are proving such a hit with an increasingly diverse range of markets.“
