Poundfield & CEMEX build concrete relationship for Suffolk

Earlier this year Poundfield Precast agreed to lease their site at Haughley, Suffolk, to CEMEX Concrete Products under a long term agreement. CEMEX will be producing and selling high quality dense and medium dense blocks which we will use to compliment our supply of concrete beam and block flooring products to the construction industry.

July has seen the first delivery of concrete blocks from the production facility at Haughley in Suffolk. The new facility which offers a fully covered production area for manufacture of concrete products will allow the ‘egg laid’ block system to continue operation even when the weather is at its worst.

With the increase demand in construction of houses in the East Anglian area this new relationship will provide both parties with the opportunities to meet the demands and work together in developing this area of growth.

Our T-Beam flooring products which are made to measure and have achieved CE Mark accreditation for quality already uses many of CEMEX’s core products so this latest development continues to cement our working relationship for the benefit of the construction industry and for Suffolk.
