Sales Estimator

We are currently looking for an enthusiastic individual to join our Creeting St Peter team in the position of Sales Estimator.

The role’s aim is to provide cost estimates for client projects for the Retaining Walls Department, ensuring all projects are estimated and returned on time, and meeting the customers’ expectations.

The key responsibilities include but not limited to the following:

• To ensure a knowledge of Poundfield’s range of concrete products.
• To be responsible for generating new business through structured, proactive outbound calls and planned follow up.
• To be responsible for efficiently dealing with customer calls, emails, and verbal enquiries in a timely manner.
• To be responsible for generating accurate quotations, in a timescale to meet customers’ reasonable needs.
• To be responsible for actively chasing and following up quotes.
• To be responsible for processing orders using appropriate in-house systems.
• To be responsible for investigating and resolving customer issues and complaints through actively listening and proactively looking for suitable solutions for the customer that is not detriment to the Company.
• To be responsible for liaising with all internal and external team members/departments in relation to customer orders, pricing, products, and delivery matters.

About you:

• Some sales and estimating experience.
• Proficiency with IT software.
• Good analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Good team player with commitment, creativity and problem solving.
• Good organisational skills.
• Strong/confident verbal and written communications skills.
• Commitment to being punctual and reliable.
• Ability to build strong relationships.
